The rate is the same. The operator sets their rate and keeps all of it, and we never mark it up. A service fee is added on top at checkout, itemised before you pay, and it never comes out of what the operator earns.
Anything paid for on this site can be cancelled free up to 48 hours before the start time, service fee included. Inside 48 hours it is the operator's call. A trip the operator calls off for weather or safety is refunded in full. A listing that books on the operator's own site is covered by that operator's policy instead.

October through May is comfortable through the day, and spring is the busiest. June through September is genuinely hot, so operators move to early morning and after dark rather than cancel. Every listing shows the times that operator is actually running.
For weekends in spring and fall, yes. Popular sound sessions and guided climbing days fill weeks out. Midweek and summer often have room the same week. Availability shown on a listing is the operator's own calendar.
It varies by operator and each listing states its own age limit. Some are built for families and some are adults only. Check the listing before booking rather than assuming either way.
